Welcome to Fluffydolls, my personal journey into the world of cats.

I'm John, and my story with animals started in my childhood, growing up on a farm bustling with a variety of animals – from pigeons, cats, and dogs to the friendly presence of sheep, horses, pigs, and cows. This rich, early experience nurtured a deep, lifelong bond with animals, driving my commitment to nurturing and caring for our kittens wholeheartedly.

My dedication to ethical breeding is unwavering. I have a special fondness for collaborating with small-scale, hobbyist breeders who breed cats out of love rather than necessity. This, I believe, ensures they prioritise the cats' well-being over profit. When working with full-time breeders, my requirement is simple: a genuine passion for improving breed standards, demonstrated through their active involvement in showing their kittens.

I take a hands-on approach in selecting our kittens, travelling to the UK and Italy to meet breeders in their own settings. This direct method allows me to ensure that our kittens come from loving and responsible backgrounds, raised with care and affection.

Prior to establishing Fluffydolls, I dedicated myself to breeding British Shorthair and Ragdoll cats in Singapore. My approach was thorough and heartfelt – from conducting comprehensive health tests on all my breeding cats to limiting their breeding frequency. I believed in and took pride in every litter, always seeking the most loving and suitable homes. However, when regulations in Singapore became more stringent, I faced a turning point.

I've always believed that the best environment for cats and kittens is a home, not a commercial breeding farm. This belief, coupled with the new regulations, led me to step away from breeding in Singapore. My journey, filled with experiences and insights from sourcing high-quality European breeding cats, didn't end there. It was the beginning of Fluffydolls.

At Fluffydolls, every kitten we offer reflects my experience and unwavering commitment to feline welfare. Each kitten begins its journey in a caring European home, enjoying freedom and play before joining us at our Cattery – a space that embodies comfort and happiness.
